About climate of the Espírito Santo

Because of its location, the region is influenced by the sea and the Atlantic forest. Given these factors, the humid tropical climate predominates in the coastal areas, while the tropical mountain climate is predominant in the interior of the state. The former provides rainy summers and dry winters, with high average temperatures in general, always above 22°C (71.6°F), and 1,250 mm of rainfall. In the latter, given its higher relief, the temperature tends to drop, with an annual average of 18ºC (64.4°F), with relatively cold winters. Rainfall reaches 1,700mm.
